This model came with the kitchen upgrade package on my new home. It is, flat out, the worst cooking utensil I've ever used. It's as if the designers didn't actually know how to cook and threw on a bunch of ideas, (that they thought), would make good ad copy. Spoiler alert, the "restaurant style" grates dictate most of it's offenses. #1) the grating "setback" from the front edge wastes 3" of surface space. This causes the front burners to be moved rearward on the cooktop, so the burners are spaced too close together. 7 3/4" center to center, this means an 11" fry pan and just a 2 quart saucepan will touch each other, not enough space. #2) the grates are too tall! I couldn't get the thing to heat well, then I realized how high the pans sit up away from the flame. From the top of the burner to the top of the grate is 1 3/4"!!! Too far from the flame! Only the center burner has enough heat to get 4 quart pot to a strong , rolling boil. Forget sauteed mushrooms, not nearly enough heat, simmered mushrooms anyone? No thanks. #3) too much gap / spacing on the grates. An 8 inch egg pan, or 1 1/2 quart saucepan will tip if not kept perfectly centered. #4) the burners are too big in diameter. The before mentioned center burner is the only one that can push enough heat, but it's diameter will only work with larger pots. This thing is so poorly executed, I would go back to electric, were this the only other choice (I haven't cooked on an electric element for 25 years!). It is going to be replaced immediately, completely unacceptable performance, and ergonomics.

This cooktop was part of out gourmet kitchen package from our builder for our new condo. The variety of burners have made cooking a breeze. The removable grates have made cleaning very easy. Overall, love this cooktop!

This came with the new home we just purchased. I've always wanted a gas stovetop and I couldn't be happier with this one. I love that I now have 5 burners - so easy to use!

Verified Customer

My new home comes with all whirlpool appliances from kitchen to laundry. Loved these equiments as it is very user friendly, sleek for your home and meets the ultimate requirements. Easy to clean and dependable.

Verified Customer

This is one of the options which we had selected in our new home. Love it. Only complaint I have is that grill is very high from the flame.

Verified Customer

Perfect burner set up and having a 5th burner is amazing!

Verified Customer

Without auto re-ignition this stove is prone to gas leaks. One bump on the knob when cleaning and you're up at 2am airing out your natural gas filled house hoping it doesn't explode. I would not purchase again.

Purchased a month ago and have been very happy with the results so far. Love the stainless

Verified Customer

The cooktop has a good selection of burner sizes and works great. It looks like it will be fairly easy to keep clean.

This cooktop surpassed my expectations with regard to functionality and design.
